SAP Extensions Lead (S/4HANA)

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Extensions Lead to join a dynamic team in Brisbane. In this pivotal role, you will manage all SAP BTP, ABAP, and Fiori developments and enhancements within the ERP Platform SAP ecosystem. You will lead a dedicated team of developers to ensure the successful delivery and remediation of critical SAP technical projects, transitioning them smoothly from development to business-as-usual (BAU) states.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead and manage a team of SAP developers to deliver approved enhancements within the SAP ecosystem.

  • Manage the SAP Extensibility register and traceability matrix in CALM to track all in-house developments.

  • Oversee the full development lifecycle, providing management from initial design through to testing and release.

  • Provide warranty and support for developments until they are successfully transitioned to AMS Support.

  • Manage supporting design documents and specifications while troubleshooting workflow and integration errors.


What You Need to Apply for This Role:

  • Substantial senior experience in SAP S/4HANA environments, specifically with ABAP, Fiori, and UI5 architecture.

  • Demonstrated experience leading matrix or virtual teams to deliver complex integration components.

  • Technical expertise in SAP BTP, including Business Application Studio (BAS) and Cloud-native extensions.

  • Proficiency in ABAP frameworks such as RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) and SAP Integration Suite (CPI).

  • Superior communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
